About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Logistics Manager to oversee and manage our logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supply-chain operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and manage transportation, deliveries, and distribution operations.
* Supervise warehouse and logistics staff.
* Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, customers, and internal teams.
* Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
* Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve logistics issues.
* Control transportation and operational costs.
* Maintain proper logistics documentation and records.
* Monitor vehicle and transporter performance.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
* Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply-chain management.
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent planning and problem-solving abilities.
* Good knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
* Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and logistics or ERP software.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
