Position Summary
Job Title: Project Engineer - EHV Substation
Experience Range: 8 to 12 Years
Location: Panipat
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Monday – Saturday)
Salary Range: INR 12,00,000 – 15,00,000 per annum (CTC)
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Site Management
Lead the design review, execution, testing, and commissioning of Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations (220 kV / 400 kV and above).
Ensure all engineering and site activities comply with technical standards, project specifications, and strict safety norms.
Supervise the installation and erection of critical substation equipment, including bus structures, switchgear, and control & relay panels.
Coordinate seamlessly with civil and mechanical teams to ensure smooth interface activities and alignment.
Quality & Contractor Management
Conduct rigorous site inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship and absolute adherence to engineering drawings.
Actively monitor contractor activities, ensuring timelines, milestones, and quality standards are consistently met.
Support the procurement process and participate in the inspection of major equipment at vendor works.
Testing, Commissioning & Compliance
Perform and oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning tests for transformers, switchgear, and advanced protection systems.
Verify relay settings, protection coordination, and complex interlocking schemes.
Coordinate directly with utility companies and DISCOMs for line charging and final energization.
Prepare comprehensive testing and commissioning reports, ensuring all documentation is compliant and audit-ready.

Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on experience in executing major EHV substation projects.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
