Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Retail Sales Executive responsible for promoting the platform to sellers, brands, and business clients. The role involves field sales, onboarding coordination, relationship management, and ensuring long-term client engagement in a fast-paced startup or multi-brand environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approach and pitch the retail platform to potential sellers, brands, and business clients.
- Identify and qualify suitable retail clients and explain platform features, benefits, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with back-office teams for onboarding, documentation, and accurate client data sharing.
- Travel for client meetings, visits, and onboarding support when required.
- Conduct follow-ups with prospects and onboarded clients to ensure engagement and satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support and coordinate with customer support and operations teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain records of sales activities, onboarding status, and follow-up updates in internal systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in retail sales, field sales, or platform-based sales roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Comfortable with travel, field visits, and client-facing interactions.
- Understanding of retail business needs, seller expectations, and marketplace operations.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Basic familiarity with digital platforms, CRM tools, and sales reporting/data entry.
- Fluency in local language(s) along with basic English/Hindi communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup or multi-brand environment.
- Prior experience in retail, marketplace, or e-commerce sales preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
