Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully completing water treatment projects within the approved timeline, budget, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, site engineers, procurement, design, and O&M teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor WTP, STP, ETP, RO, and UF projects from start to handover.
- Prepare project schedules and ensure timely completion of all activities.
- Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, Production, and Site teams.
- Monitor project budgets, material requirements, and project costs.
- Attend client meetings and provide regular project progress updates.
- Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed at all project sites.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site manpower effectively.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Verify project documentation, billing milestones, and completion reports.
- Support project commissioning and successful client handover.
- Submit weekly and monthly project status reports to management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- PMP certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in managing Water Treatment, STP, ETP, RO, or Industrial Projects.
- Proven experience in project planning, execution, commissioning, and client coordination.
