Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Panel Wiring & PLC Programmer to support industrial automation projects. The candidate will be responsible for electrical panel wiring, PLC programming, machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support activities for Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform electrical control panel wiring and assembly as per electrical drawings.
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation machines.
- Configure and program PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and other automation devices.
- Perform machine I/O checking, testing, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuit drawings.
- Support machine commissioning and installation activities at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and PLC-related issues during machine trials and production.
- Collaborate with mechanical and design teams during machine development and assembly.
- Prepare and maintain Electrical Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with the purchase team for electrical component procurement.
- Ensure proper documentation of PLC programs, wiring diagrams, and project records.
- Provide after-sales technical support and programming modifications when required.
- Follow safety standards and best practices during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
