Kalvex Innovations is developing smart vending machines and automated retail solutions. We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who can take ownership of machine design, product development, prototyping, and manufacturing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design vending machines, kiosks, and automated dispensing systems.
- Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare sheet metal designs and fabrication drawings.
- Generate BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
- Design machine structures, doors, racks, mechanisms, and internal layouts.
- Coordinate with fabrication vendors and production teams.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design improvements.
- Work closely with electronics and software teams for system integration.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Experience in Sheet Metal Design.
- Experience in Assembly Design and BOM preparation.
- Understanding of fabrication, welding, laser cutting, and bending processes.
- Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience in machine design, industrial equipment, kiosks, vending machines, or automation products is preferred.
Qualification
- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant Mechanical Design experience.
