Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head – Scan to BIM to lead our BIM production and delivery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end Scan to BIM project execution, driving operational excellence, ensuring quality standards, mentoring teams, and contributing to business growth initiatives.
This role requires strong technical expertise in point cloud processing, BIM modeling, project management, and team leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage the Scan to BIM division, including BIM Managers, BIM Coordinators, and BIM Modelers.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Establish performance metrics, training plans, and career development programs.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Project Delivery & Operations
- Oversee the complete Scan to BIM workflow from point cloud acquisition to final BIM deliverables.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining budget and quality targets.
- Manage project planning, resource allocation, risk assessment, and client expectations.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when required.
Technical Excellence
- Provide technical leadership in point cloud processing, BIM modeling, and digital asset creation.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, workflows, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Lead QA/QC reviews and establish robust quality assurance processes.
Business Development Support
- Support proposal preparation, project estimation, and technical presentations.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical consultation.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and service expansion.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that support organizational growth.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies and automation tools.
- Promote innovation in Scan to BIM and Digital Twin workflows.
- Evaluate new software, methodologies, and industry trends to enhance productivity and service quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in BIM and Scan to BIM project delivery.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit, ReCap, Navisworks, and point cloud-based BIM workflows.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary BIM teams.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong client-facing and business communication capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on Digital Twin projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM implementation frameworks.
- Experience managing large-scale international projects.
- Exposure to automation tools, BIM scripting, and workflow optimization.
- PMP or BIM-related certifications will be an added advantage.
