Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments using standardized and non-standardized assessment tools.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve functional independence.
- Train clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Assess and improve fine motor skills, hand function, sensory processing, visual perception, cognitive skills, and upper limb function.
- Recommend and train clients in the use of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications.
- Design and implement sensory integration programs where appropriate.
- Educate clients, caregivers, and family members on home exercise programs and functional strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, treatment records, and progress notes.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and rehabilitation planning meetings.
- Coordinate with physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, special educators, nurses, social workers, and physicians for holistic patient care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, quality standards, and organizational policies.
- Participate in community awareness programs, outreach services, training sessions, and continuous professional development.
- Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe treatment environment.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT) from a recognized institution.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 per month
