A Receptionist cum Accounts Assistant is responsible for managing front office operations while providing administrative and accounting support to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization. The role includes greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, handling emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a professional reception area. In addition to reception duties, the employee assists with basic accounting tasks such as preparing invoices, recording financial transactions, maintaining petty cash, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and organizing financial records. They also support the finance team by preparing reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. A successful Receptionist cum Accounts Assistant should possess strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software. Attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively with both customers and colleagues are essential for this role.
