Responsibilities:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive cost engineering strategy for the Metal Forming
category, addressing multiple Metal Forming methods and industry requirements.
o Lead a global team of cost engineers, providing mentorship and technical direction, ensuring
delivery of accurate, detailed costing analyses and actionable recommendations for the clients.
o Lead client engagements for accurate and timely delivery of client initiatives and programs.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product development/engineering, and lead client
engagements for the Metal Forming category.
o Drive cost evaluations for various Metal Forming processes, including Tooling, Machining,
Heat Treatment and related process for Forging.
o Develop and maintain detailed cost models in our costing solution tailored to industry-specific
requirements, such as automotive, aerospace, industrial, appliances, and medical industries.
o Identify key cost drivers and provide actionable insights for cost reduction through VA/VE,
alternate manufacturing processes and material selection, and process improvements.
o Implement cost engineering best practices across different Metal Forming methods to
enhance efficiency, quality, and cost transparency.
o Champion accuracy, automation, and continuous improvement in True ValueHub
solution for Metal Forming module.
o Monitor industry trends and technological advancements in Metal Forming to identify
opportunities for solution enhancements and efficiency.
o Act as a Metal Forming cost engineering expert, advising on strategic decisions and market
positioning.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; Master’s degree
preferred.
o Minimum of 22–25+ years of experience in cost engineering, with a focus on Metal Forming
processes across multiple industries.
o Proven expertise in various Metal Forming , including Tooling, Machining, Heat Treatment and
related process for Forging.
o At least 5 years of leadership experience in a cost engineering or related role.
o Comprehensive knowledge of Metal Forming materials, techniques, and cost drivers.
o Proficiency in cost modeling tools, software, and data analysis.
o Familiarity with industry standards and certifications in Metal Forming processes (e.g., ASME,
ASTM, ISO).

- Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and data-driven decision-making abilities.
