- Prepare detailed cost estimates for elevators, components, and installation projects.
- Evaluate Bill of Materials (BOM) against vendor quotations and market prices.
- Analyze material consumption, process times, and labor costs to ensure accuracy.
- Identify material requirements, machining needs, assembly operations, and electrical components.
- Conduct market research for raw materials, electrical parts, and fabrication elements.
- Benchmark vendor pricing and maintain updated cost databases.
- Calculate man-hours, machine operating costs, tooling, and overheads.
- Estimate site installation costs (manpower, logistics, consumables, safety).
- Prepare project cost budgets and feasibility reports.
- Support project planning with installation cost inputs.
- Recommend cost reduction methods (design optimization, material substitution).
- Support procurement in vendor negotiations.
- Provide costing support during technical and commercial bidding.
- Prepare costing sheets, price models, and variance reports.
- Compare estimated vs. actual costs to identify gaps.
