Support Teacher Cum Assistant Counselor*
*Position:* Educational & Psychosocial Support
*Qualification:* Diploma in Counseling / B.Ed. / M.A. in Psychology
*CTC:* ₹2.40 Lakh – ₹2.64 Lakh per annum
(*Monthly Salary:* ₹20,000 – ₹22,000)
*Location:* Yerawada, Dighi, Dapodi, Budhwar Peth & Bhugaon
(One candidate will be responsible for all locations)
*Language Requirement:* Marathi & Basic English
### *Key Responsibilities:*
✅ Provide educational support and remedial education to children referred by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and residing in Child Care Institutions (CCIs)
✅ Provide academic assistance, homework support, and subject-wise guidance to children
✅ Conduct remedial teaching sessions using child-friendly and activity-based learning methods
✅ Prepare lesson plans and educational activities based on children’s learning needs
✅ Support children in improving academic skills and classroom participation
✅ Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for children
✅ Address emotional, behavioral, and trauma-related concerns of children
✅ Organize life skills, recreational, and developmental activities
✅ Maintain children’s progress records and prepare reports
✅ Coordinate with CWC members, social workers, CCI staff, and families
✅ Assist in the rehabilitation and reintegration process of children
✅ Ensure compliance with child protection and safety standards
### *Required Skills:*
Good teaching, counseling, and communication skills
Ability to explain concepts in a simple and child-friendly manner
Knowledge of remedial teaching techniques and activity-based learning methods
Classroom management and child engagement skills
Ability to prepare lesson plans and educational activities
Documentation and report writing skills
Ability to work with vulnerable children and adolescents
Willingness to travel across assigned locations
