Job Summary:
IES University is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor – Civil to oversee day-to-day civil construction activities, site execution, contractor coordination, quality control, and project supervision for institutional and infrastructure projects within the university campus.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil engineering works, RCC structures, finishing works, site management, construction supervision, BOQ execution, labour handling, safety compliance, and project coordination.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in building construction, campus infrastructure, commercial projects, residential projects, and institutional civil works.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all on-site civil construction activities.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, architects, and project engineers.
- Inspect RCC work, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing, and structural activities.
- Monitor labour productivity, material consumption, and daily site progress.
- Maintain site quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), work updates, and material requirement reports.
- Verify measurements and contractor billing as per completed work.
- Ensure proper use of construction materials and minimize wastage.
- Handle site documentation, site inspections, snag lists, and work approvals.
- Resolve site-related technical issues and coordinate with management for smooth execution.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering
- 2–6 years of experience in civil construction or site supervision
- Experience in institutional, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects preferred
- Knowledge of construction standards and site safety practices
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, AutoCAD preferred)
