Commercial Manager – Job Requirements
A Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing the commercial and business aspects of an organization, including sales, contracts, procurement, pricing and customer relationships.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Management
Experience
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in commercial operations, sales, procurement, contracts, or business management.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or related sectors as applicable.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Manage customer contracts, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
- Oversee procurement activities and vendor relationships.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, and profitability.
- Coordinate with production, finance, logistics, and sales teams.
- Identify business opportunities and support revenue growth initiatives.
