Who We Are
GAJAN Group Holdings is a holding company with eleven businesses
across commerce, software and services, with entities in Mohali and
Toronto. Four e-commerce brands, two B2B SaaS products, an AI
operations platform, and more. The team is small. The work is real.
Everyone here owns their function outright.
What This Job Is
You will be our first dedicated front end developer, working across
our Shopify brands and web products. The core of the role is
building and maintaining headless Shopify storefronts, plus the
front ends of our SaaS products. You will own what you ship. There
is no layer of engineers above you reviewing every line, so the
work has to be right.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain headless Shopify storefronts (Hydrogen or
Next.js with the Storefront API)
- Own theme work on our existing Shopify stores where headless is
not warranted
- Build front ends for our SaaS products in React
- Write Python scripts and light backend endpoints where the work
needs them
- Ship measurably: page speed, conversion, and Core Web Vitals are
your scoreboard
- Work directly with the founder and our designers, no middle layer
What We Are Looking For
- 2 to 4 years of real front end experience with React
- You have built or worked on at least one Shopify storefront,
theme or headless
- Working knowledge of the Shopify Storefront API, or proof you can
learn an API fast
- Some Python: scripts, small APIs, automation, enough to be
dangerous
- Strong written English. This role is remote and most of what you
produce is written
- You have shipped things you can link to. Live URLs and repos beat
any resume
- Based in India, working IST hours
Bonus points for Hydrogen production experience, Liquid, Tailwind,
performance work with numbers to show, or AI-assisted development
workflows.
