Job Title: Swimming Coach
Location: Edify School, Chikkabanavara
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (4 Days per Week)
Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Swimming Teacher to train and supervise students during swimming sessions. The ideal candidate should be skilled in swimming instruction, water safety, and student supervision, with the ability to create a safe, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct swimming lessons for students across different age groups and skill levels
- Teach swimming techniques, strokes, breathing methods, and water safety practices
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all swimming activities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain discipline and encourage participation during sessions
- Monitor pool usage and ensure adherence to safety guidelines
- Assist in organizing swimming events, competitions, and related activities
- Coordinate with school staff regarding student participation and performance
- Report any safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents promptly
Qualifications & Skills
- Certification in Swimming Instruction, Lifeguarding, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience as a Swimming Teacher or Coach is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety protocols
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and young learners
- Basic first aid and emergency response knowledge preferred

Work Schedule Options:
- Full-Time: Monday to Saturday
