Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Technical File Preparation & Nesting (60% of Role)
- Convert raster images, client sketches, and low-resolution logos into clean, high-precision vector paths (.DXF, .AI, .EPS, .CDR).
- Prepare precise engineering templates for 3D channel letters, ensuring correct return widths, backlighting tolerances, and joint spacing.
- Apply correct structural offsets, drilling marks, and neon tube pathway routing lines into the final production files.
2. Creative Layouts & Client Approval Proofs (30% of Role)
- Develop comprehensive 2D architectural scaling mock-ups showing exactly how a proposed signboard will look when physically mounted on a client’s building facade or retail storefront.
- Establish balanced colour combinations using earthy/neutral corporate palettes, custom text layouts, and backlight shading effects.
- Create detailed technical approval sheets for clients that clearly specify dimensions, material layers, thickness (e.g., 3mm ACP, 10mm Acrylic), and LED lighting specifications.
3. Production Coordination (10% of Role)
- Collaborate daily with CNC and laser machine operators to troubleshoot file translation errors, font conversions, or geometry discrepancies before cutting begins. If worked from operator doing action daily.
- Conduct spot checks on the shop floor to verify that the physical output accurately matches your approved vector files.
4. Job Requirements & Technical Skills
- Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in CorelDRAW, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is mandatory
- Signage Literacy: Deep understanding of signage substrates, including ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) folding, acrylic flame-polishing properties, LED pitch distribution and vinyl application boundaries. Enhance skills if lack in to it.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
