Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist with 1–2 years of experience to join our Children’s Hospital team. The candidate will assess, plan, and provide therapy interventions for infants, children, and adolescents with developmental, neurological, sensory, behavioral, and physical challenges to improve their functional independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess pediatric patients with developmental delays, neurological disorders, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and other conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and therapeutic goals.
- Conduct occupational therapy sessions using age-appropriate techniques and evidence-based practices.
- Provide sensory integration therapy, fine motor skill training, hand function therapy, ADL training, and developmental interventions.
- Monitor and document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records.
- Coordinate with pediatricians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Educate parents and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and therapy goals.
- Participate in case discussions, departmental meetings, and patient review sessions.
- Ensure therapy equipment and treatment areas are maintained safely and hygienically.
- Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and documentation standards.
