Job Summary
The Store In-Charge oversees the daily activities of the store, including receiving goods, managing inventory levels, maintaining records, and ensuring the safety and security of the stock. They serve as the bridge between procurement, sales, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Stock Management
Stock Tracking: Monitor and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock using ERP or inventory software.
Reordering: Identify minimum stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions to avoid stock-outs.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies against purchase orders and invoices.
Auditing: Conduct regular physical stock counts (cycle counting) and reconcile them with system records.
2. Operational Oversight
Space Optimization: Organize the store layout to maximize storage capacity and ensure easy accessibility of high-turnover items.
Documentation: Maintain systematic filing of GRNs (Goods Received Notes), SIVs (Store Issue Vouchers), and dispatch documents.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the warehouse meets health and safety standards (e.g., proper chemical storage, clear fire exits, and PPE usage).
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
