Core Responsibilities
- Trend Analysis: Research current fashion trends and predict upcoming consumer preferences.
- Design & Illustration: Develop concept sketches by hand or using CAD programs, and create mood boards for collections.
- Material Sourcing: Select and evaluate fabrics, colors, patterns, and trims.
- Pattern & Prototype Making: Work with pattern makers to create clothing patterns and develop prototype samples.
- Fitting & Modifications: Fit prototypes on models or mannequins, adjusting details for fit, comfort, and construction.
- Production Oversight: Oversee the final manufacturing process and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Presentation & Sales: Present collections to creative directors, buyers, or retailers, and showcase designs at fashion or trade shows.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
