Kiosk Sales Specialist – Hyderabad Airport (Departures)
Position Overview: Avaan is seeking dynamic, high-energy, and target-driven professionals to join our Kiosk Operations team at the Hyderabad International Airport. This role is built for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and aggressive sales environment. Unlike traditional customer service roles, this is a proactive, front-line sales position requiring high mobility, exceptional networking skills, and a relentless focus on meeting volume and lead targets.
Key Responsibilities
Active Customer Acquisition: Proactively move around the airport departures terminal to identify, approach, and engage potential customers, effectively driving them to the Avaan kiosk.
Strategic Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with key airport stakeholders—including airline staff, GMR airport personnel, Encalm lounge teams, and airport porters—to generate active referrals and increase kiosk footfall.
Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed aggressive daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, specifically measured in cargo weight secured (Kgs) and qualified leads generated.
Brand Representation: Act as the face of Avaan at the airport, delivering highimpact, persuasive sales pitches while maintaining professional airport decorum. Required Skills & Qualifications
Sales Mindset: A proven comfort level with aggressive sales targets and a commission/metric-driven work culture.
High Mobility & Stamina: Ability to stand and move dynamically across the departures terminal throughout the shift duration.
Exceptional Communication: Strong command over language with the ability to build instant rapport, break the ice with strangers, and negotiate effectively.
Resilience & Grit: High emotional intelligence to handle sales rejection and maintain high energy levels daily.
Airport Familiarity (Preferred): Prior experience in airport operations, hospitality, or retail sales is a distinct advantage.
