Position Summary:
The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for guiding and advising students/parents on various academic programs and courses offered by Tru'even. This is a crucial role that involves excellent communication and a strong understanding of educational needs, with a focus on the Malayalam-speaking audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counselling and Guidance: Advise prospective students and parents on the best-suited academic programs based on their needs, career goals, and background.
- Communication: Maintain professional and effective communication with leads through calls, emails, and other mediums, with a specific requirement for excellent communication skills in Malayalam.
- Lead Management: Handle and nurture leads effectively, ensuring a high conversion rate of inquiries into enrolments.
- Program Knowledge: Stay updated on all programs, courses, and educational offerings by Tru'even and clearly articulate their value proposition.
- Sales and Targets: Work towards achieving enrolment targets and contributing to the company's growth objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all counselling activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Remote Work: Successfully manage work and targets in a remote, work-from-home environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: 0 - 2 years of experience in counselling, sales, or customer-facing roles.
- Language Skill: Excellent communication skill in Malayalam is mandatory.
- Industry Experience: Prior Experience in the EdTech Industry is a plus (advantageous, but not strictly required).
- Work Environment: Must be self-motivated and disciplined to effectively utilize the Work from home option.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office/Google Suite) and familiarity with CRM software is desirable.
- Soft Skills: Strong listening, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
