Your role and responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to establish and lead a high-performing automation and manual testing team. You will be responsible for defining testing strategies, implementing advanced automation frameworks using Selenium, Tosca, and Playwright, and driving quality standards across the organization. This is a strategic role that combines technical expertise with team leadership.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business Smart Power division in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Lead and mentor a team of automation and manual QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
Design and implement comprehensive test automation strategies using Selenium, Tosca Automation, and Playwright frameworks
Establish and maintain test automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines across the team
Oversee the development and optimization of automation frameworks for UI, API, and mobile testing
Drive the integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to define testing scope and requirements
Conduct regular code reviews and ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability
Lead technical problem-solving and root cause analysis for test failures and automation challenges
Stay updated with testing trends and emerging automation technologies
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with Minimum 7-10 years of software testing experience with 3+ years in test automation leadership
Expert-level proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with complex framework design
Strong hands-on experience with Tosca Automation (TOSCA UI, TOSCA Service Virtualization)
Proficiency in Playwright for modern web automation testing with advanced programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
Deep understanding of automation testing frameworks (POM, Data-Driven, BDD, Keyword-Driven) and Experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber or Behave
Proficiency in API testing using tools like REST Assured, Postman, or Karate DSL and Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
Expertise in CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and Database knowledge (SQL) and backend testing capabilities
Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms
ISRQB certification will be added advantage
