Position: English Primary Teacher
Qualification: B.A / B.Com with B.Ed
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Purpose
To deliver engaging and effective English language instruction to primary school students, fostering strong reading, writing, listening and speaking skills while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Plan and deliver English lessons for primary classes in line with the school curriculum.
● Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and comprehension skills.
● Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and assessments to track student progress.
● Create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment for young learners.
● Assess and evaluate student performance through regular tests and assignments.
● Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades and progress reports.
● Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development.
● Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings and staff development programs.
● Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators to align teaching methods and goals.
● Ensure classroom discipline and student safety at all times.
Required Skills & Competencies
● Strong command over spoken and written English.
● Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
● Patience, creativity and a genuine interest in working with young children.
● Ability to plan lessons that cater to different learning styles.
● Basic computer skills for record-keeping and lesson preparation.
Eligibility Criteria
● Graduate (B.A / B.Com) with B.Ed qualification.
● Prior teaching experience at primary level preferred.
● Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru, if not based locally.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
