Job Title: Internal (ID) & External (OD) Grinding Operator

Location: Peelamedu, Coimbatore
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate internal (ID) and external (OD) grinding machines to achieve precision finishes and tolerances.
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to determine specifications.
- Set up grinding machines, including loading and securing the workpiece.
- Adjust machine settings, such as speed, feed, and grinding wheel dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance of machines, including replacing worn grinding wheels.
- Conduct inspections and measurements to ensure the finished product meets quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues during grinding operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a grinding operator, particularly in ID & OD grinding.
- Strong knowledge of grinding machine operations and setups.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Good understanding of machining tolerances and finishes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Basic mechanical skills and understanding of machine maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in the manufacturing of precision tools or collets.
- Knowledge of grinding wheel selection and dressing techniques.
