We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to leadHR Compliance and PMO (Project Management Office) initiatives. This role will ensure organizational adherence to statutory and internal HR policies while driving strategic HR projects, governance frameworks, and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Compliance Governance
- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations (e.g., Shops Establishment Act, PF, ESIC, POSH, CLRA, etc.)
- Lead internal and external compliance audits; drive timely closure of observations
- Develop and standardize HR policies aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and proactively implement necessary policy/process updates
- Manage vendor compliance (contractual workforce, payroll vendors, etc.)
2. HR PMO Strategic Projects
- Set up and manage HR PMO framework for governance, tracking, and reporting
- Drive cross-functional HR projects (e.g., HR tech implementation, transformation initiatives, policy rollouts)
- Define project timelines, KPIs, risks, and mitigation plans
- Monitor project performance through dashboards and MIS reporting
- Ensure alignment of HR initiatives with business objectives
3. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business leaders, legal teams, and external consultants
- Act as a trusted advisor on compliance matters and HR project execution
- Provide insights and updates to leadership through structured governance forums
4. Process Excellence Automation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization
- Leverage technology to automate compliance tracking and reporting
- Implement best practices in HR operations and governance
5. Risk Management
- Identify compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure strong documentation and audit trail mechanisms
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in HR compliance, HR operations, or HR PMO role
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional HR projects / PMO setups
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with strong governance mindset
- Proficiency in HRMS tools and reporting dashboards
