Job Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer with 1–5 years of experience to join our growing offshore team based in Calicut, Kerala.
The ideal candidate should have strong Python and SQL skills, a good understanding of data engineering concepts, and experience working with data pipelines and transformations. Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or modern analytics platforms will be an added advantage.
This role involves building scalable data workflows, supporting analytics initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Kerala or those available to work from Calicut immediately.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows
- Develop and manage data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources
- Support analytics and data science teams with reliable and well-structured datasets
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance of data systems
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
- Document data workflows, pipelines, and engineering processes
Required Skills
- 1–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Python Development, ETL, or related roles
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
- Good understanding of data engineering concepts and pipeline development
- Experience working with large datasets and data transformations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Fabric
- Familiarity with Azure or modern analytics/data platforms
- Understanding of ETL workflows, data modeling, and data governance concepts
- Basic understanding of statistics or data science fundamentals
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
Work Requirements
- Offshore position based in Calicut, Kerala
- Candidates should be available to work from the office when required
- International travel may be required depending on project needs
