Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to oversee quality control activities and ensure that products meet company standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a quality team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day quality control activities.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.
- Identify quality issues, defects, and deviations and take corrective action.
- Maintain quality inspection reports, records, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality-related problems.
- Conduct regular quality checks and audits.
- Train and guide quality staff on inspection procedures and standards.
- Investigate customer complaints and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and reduce product defects, rejections, and wastage.
- Ensure proper handling and calibration of quality inspection equipment.
- Prepare quality reports and provide updates to management.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance or a similar supervisory role.
- Good knowledge of quality inspection procedures and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to identify defects and implement effective corrective actions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and quality documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
