SCHOOL-BASED BCBA / BCaBA – JOB DESCRIPTION Key
Responsibilities Conduct/support behavioural and skills-based assessments. Develop and implement individualized ABA-based programmes. Work on communication, social skills, academic readiness, adaptive skills, independence and behaviour.
Use data to monitor student progress and guide intervention. Support positive behaviour strategies and functional communication. Collaborate with special educators, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, LSAs and parents. Train and support school staff in implementing intervention programmes.
Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary reviews. Requirements BCBA/BCaBA certification, where applicable. Relevant qualification in Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Education or a related field. Knowledge of ABA, ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, FBA and data-based intervention. School/special-education experience preferred. Strong communication, observation, documentation and teamwork skills.
For BCBA Lead and oversee assessment, individualized intervention planning, behaviour support, staff training and data-based decision making. Supervise implementation of individualized programmes and monitor treatment fidelity. Review programme effectiveness and make data-based recommendations.
For BCaBA Support assessment, individualized ABA-based intervention, implementation, data collection, progress monitoring and classroom integration. Work within the applicable certification scope and under the supervision and direction of a qualified BCBA. Report progress, concerns and barriers to the supervising BCBA. Professional Expectations
Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, accurate documentation and ethical practice. Ensure interventions are individualized, evidence-informed, positive, respectful and least restrictive. Promote student independence and generalization across people, settings and activities. This role is intended for a school-based multidisciplinary setting and should be aligned with applicable certification, supervision, organizational and local requirements.
Pay: ₹9,863.25 - ₹32,610.02 per month
