We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Academic Counselor to guide prospective learners in selecting suitable Excel and MIS training programs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counseling skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to understand students’ career goals and recommend appropriate courses.
The Academic Counselor will be responsible for handling leads, counseling prospective students, explaining course benefits, following up regularly, and converting qualified leads into admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Understand students’ educational background, current skills, career goals, and training requirements.
- Counsel students regarding Advanced Excel, MIS, and related career opportunities.
- Explain course curriculum, learning outcomes, duration, fees, certification, class schedules, and available learning support.
- Guide students in selecting the most suitable course based on their career objectives.
- Handle inquiries generated through digital marketing campaigns, social media, websites, referrals, and other sources.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with interested candidates and convert leads into course enrollments.
- Achieve assigned monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, counseling discussions, follow-ups, and enrollments in the CRM or lead management system.
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding process.
- Address student queries professionally and provide timely support throughout the admission process.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and enrolled students.
- Share daily work updates and lead conversion status with the reporting manager.
- Participate in counseling campaigns, webinars, education fairs, promotional activities, and other student engagement initiatives when required.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
