Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive – Operations to manage end-to-end air and sea freight execution. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics workflows, documentation accuracy, and building strong carrier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day air/sea freight operations and seamless shipment coordination.
- Handle all aspects of import/export documentation and processing.
- Liaise closely with customers, carriers, customs agents, and our overseas networks.
- Proactively negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines and airlines.
- Ensure timely, secure, and highly efficient shipment execution.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of solid experience specifically within freight forwarding in the Mumbai market.
- Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and logistics execution.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Attributes: Excellent coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
