Skylink Fibernet Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced FTTH Installation Team Lead to lead and manage a team of FTTH Installation Engineers and Technicians. The ideal candidate will oversee daily installation activities, ensure high-quality service delivery, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain customer satisfaction while meeting installation targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of FTTH Installation Engineers and Technicians.
- Plan and assign daily installation schedules to field teams.
- Oversee end-to-end FTTH installations, including cable routing, fiber termination, ONT/ONU installation, and customer activation.
- Ensure installations are completed within the committed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Conduct site surveys and provide technical support for complex installations.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with company standards and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with NOC, L2/L3 Support, Sales, and Customer Support teams for smooth service activation.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain daily installation reports, productivity records, and team performance metrics.
- Manage installation tools, materials, and inventory.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate field engineers to improve performance and technical skills.
- Handle customer escalations professionally and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in FTTH/Fiber Network Installation.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Team Lead or Supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of FTTH architecture, GPON technology, ODN, fiber termination, and service activation.
- Hands-on experience with Fusion Splicer, OTDR, Optical Power Meter, and fiber testing tools.
- Basic knowledge of IP networking, routers, Wi-Fi configuration, OLT, and ONT/ONU devices.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for field operations.
