The ideal candidate will possess strong sales expertise, a sound understanding of freight forwarding operations, and a passion for building long-term client relationships.
Position Overview
As a Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding, you will be responsible for driving new business development, managing existing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. You will play a key role in promoting our comprehensive freight forwarding services while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and contributing to the company’s overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer retention and repeat business.
- Understand client logistics requirements and provide customized freight forwarding solutions.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service excellence.
3. Sales Presentations & Proposals
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Develop detailed, competitive, and solution-oriented proposals based on client requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions to secure profitable business opportunities.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with operations, customer service, and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client concerns and enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in freight forwarding sales or logistics sales.
- Strong understanding of international logistics, customs regulations, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
