Key Responsibilities
- Study project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Prepare rate analysis and project costing.
- Obtain and compare material/subcontractor quotations.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for pricing.
- Assist in preparing commercial and technical tender submissions.
- Maintain estimation records, rate databases, and cost sheets.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and variations during estimation.
- Support senior engineers/estimation managers in tender preparation.
- Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in estimation, tendering, or quantity surveying.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, BOQ, quantity take-off, and rate analysis.
- Good analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of construction/project estimation.
- Experience with estimation or quantity-surveying software is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
