Job Responsibilities – Pre-Primary / Early Years TeacherTeaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based and inquiry-driven learning experiences for young children
- Support children’s holistic development – social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language skills
- Foster curiosity, creativity, independence, and problem-solving through purposeful activities and guided play
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs and developmental levels of each child
- Integrate early literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills into daily classroom experiences
Curriculum Implementation
- Implement a concept-based and thematic curriculum framework
- Promote positive values such as respect, empathy, responsibility, and cooperation
- Design learning experiences connected to broad themes that help children understand the world around them
- Encourage student choice, voice, and active participation in learning
- Support inquiry through exploration, questioning, hands-on activities, and reflection
Assessment & Documentation
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning using ongoing formative assessment strategies
- Maintain learning portfolios, anecdotal records, and observation notes
- Use assessment information to guide future lesson planning and support individual growth
- Prepare progress reports aligned with school guidelines
Classroom Environment
- Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Organize learning centers that promote collaboration, exploration, and independence
- Establish consistent routines and use positive behavior guidance strategies
- Support children’s emotional well-being, self-regulation, and social development
Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with academic coordinators, co-teachers, teaching assistants, and specialists
- Participate in curriculum planning and reflection meetings
- Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practices
- Contribute to school initiatives, events, and quality improvement processes
Parent & Community Engagement
- Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers
- Communicate regularly about children’s learning and development
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences and parent workshops
- Encourage family involvement in classroom and school activities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
