Accounts Executive – Manufacturing (3–4 Years Experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive with 3 to 4 years of dedicated experience in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will independently manage end-to-end plant accounting, plant inventory valuations, and manufacturing compliance. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of product costing, material management workflows, and factory-level statutory filings.
1.Roles and Responsibilities
- Inventory & Cost Accounting: Monitor Raw Material (RM), Work-in-Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG) valuations alongside conducting routine physical stock audits.
- Product Costing: Assist in analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM), tracking variance in production costs, and reporting on factory overheads.
- Vendor & Procurement AP: Manage vendor accounts payable, verify purchase orders (PO) against Goods Received Notes (GRN), and process transporter invoices.
- Manufacturing Compliance: Prepare and file manufacturing-specific tax returns, including GST (with heavy input tax credit reconciliations) and TDS.
- Commercial Operations: Oversee factory dispatch billing, commercial invoice generation, and e-way bill compliance.
- Month-End Closing: Prepare plant-level trial balances, depreciation schedules for plant machinery, and manufacturing profit and loss statements.
- Audit Readiness: Lead statutory and stock audits by preparing precise cost sheets and ledger schedules for auditors.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce/Accounting. Semi-qualified CMA (ICWA) or CA-Inter is highly preferred.
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience strictly within a manufacturing or production plant setup (candidates without plant/factory accounting experience will not be considered).
- Software Skills: High proficiency in manufacturing ERPs (e.g., SAP MM/FI modules, Tally Prime, or Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of inventory valuation methods (FIFO, Weighted Average), factory compliances, and GST input credit mechanisms.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate smoothly between plant engineers, procurement teams, and corporate finance.
Pay: ₹10,663.80 - ₹30,595.87 per month
