Job Title: Accountant
Job Overview:
As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis. Present financial information to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide explanations for variances.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Stay updated on changes in accounting rules and regulations that may impact the organization.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed. Implement audit recommendations to improve internal controls and processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance accuracy. Implement changes to optimize financial operations.
- Taxation: Assist in preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize tax liabilities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as finance, operations, and procurement to gather financial information, resolve issues, and support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
