Job Description: PCB Designer
Role Objective: To design and develop reliable, high-performance printed circuit boards (PCBs) for railway applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental requirements. The role involves close collaboration with hardware, mechanical, and system engineering teams to support product development, prototyping, and production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design multi-layer PCBs for railway signaling, control, and communication systems using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Translate schematic diagrams into optimized PCB layouts considering signal integrity, thermal management, and EMI/EMC constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical fit, manufacturability, and electrical performance.
- Generate and maintain Gerber files, BOMs, and fabrication drawings.
- Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews.
- Support prototype development, testing, and debugging of PCBs.
- Ensure designs comply with railway standards such as EN50155, EN50121, and IRIS.
- Maintain documentation and revision control throughout the design lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PCB design, preferably in the railway or transportation industry.
- Proficiency in EDA tools such as Altium Designer.
- Strong understanding of PCB design principles, signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management.
- Experience with IPC standards and PCB fabrication processes. Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with railway compliance standards (EN50155, EN50121, IRIS).
- Experience with high-speed design, EMC/EMI mitigation, and ruggedized electronics.
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
