Job Summary
The Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is responsible for providing medical consultation in the Outpatient Department (OPD) during regular working hours and managing emergency medical services for industrial employees during night shifts. The DMO shall assess, diagnose, stabilize, and initiate treatment, coordinate referrals when required, and ensure timely emergency response while maintaining accurate medical records and adherence to hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for OPD patients.
- Manage medical and occupational emergencies during night shifts.
- Stabilize patients and arrange referral/transfer when required.
- Prescribe medications and order appropriate investigations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and emergency documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, ambulance services, and industrial safety personnel.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized Medical College.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.
- BLS certification preferred; ACLS will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 0–3 years of clinical experience.
- Fresh MBBS graduates may apply.
Working Conditions
- Day shift for OPD and rotational night duty for industrial emergency services.
- Accommodation will be provided within the hospital campus, and the selected candidate is expected to stay on campus for prompt emergency response.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
