We are currently hiring a Data Engineer – Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Fabric) for one of our esteemed clients.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer – Microsoft Azure with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric to design, build, and optimize enterprise data platforms.
The ideal candidate will develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, implement modern Data Lake/Lakehouse architectures, and deliver reliable analytics solutions using Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including:
- Lakehouse
- Data Warehouse
- Data Factory
- Dataflows Gen2
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Develop Data Lake/Lakehouse solutions using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Integrate data from SAP, Salesforce, ERP systems, APIs, databases, and flat files.
- Create optimized data models using Star Schema, Fact and Dimension Tables.
- Develop and maintain Power BI Semantic Models and DAX measures.
- Build enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI, Analytics Engineering, or Data Consulting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Proficiency in SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Python/PySpark.
- Strong experience in ETL/ELT development.
- Experience implementing Data Lake/Lakehouse solutions.
- Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture.
- Experience with Data Modelling, including Star Schema, Fact and Dimension Tables.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and Semantic Models.
- Experience integrating data from SAP, Salesforce, ERP applications, APIs, and databases.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Fabric Certification
- Azure Data Engineer Certification
- Power BI Certification
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Git
- Exposure to Databricks or Snowflake
- Knowledge of Data Governance and Cloud Data Platforms
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Azure Data Engineer / Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer with strong data engineering fundamentals and experience building scalable data solutions. The candidate should be comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data and analytics solutions.
