Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate new business from corporates, travel agents, tour operators, event planners and local businesses
- Drive room sales through corporate contracts, group bookings and long-stay agreements
- Develop banquet, restaurant and bar sales through events, parties, meetings and celebrations
- Identify untapped markets and create innovative sales strategies to increase revenue
Market Outreach & Partnerships
- Conduct regular outside sales visits to offices, industries, institutions, and agencies
- Build tie-ups with companies, hospitals, colleges, wedding planners and clubs
- Establish partnerships with online platforms, local influencers and community groups
Promotions & Innovative Ideas
- Design and execute creative promotions (theme nights, corporate lunches, happy hours, stay packages)
- Work with operations and marketing teams to launch seasonal offers and combo deals
- Introduce unique guest experiences to differentiate the property from competitors
Revenue & Performance Management
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets for rooms, F&B, and events
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and demand patterns
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
Guest Relations & Brand Representation
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts
- Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business
- Represent the hotel professionally in networking events, exhibitions and trade meets
Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and execute innovative marketing ideas
- Good understanding of hotel operations, F&B sales and local market dynamics
- Target-oriented with strong follow-up and closing skills
- Comfortable with field sales and relationship management
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management, Marketing or Business preferred
- 2–5 years experience in hotel sales, hospitality marketing or F&B sales
- Experience in 3-star or mid-scale hotels is an advantage
- Knowledge of local corporate and travel market is highly desirable
