Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced NPD Engineer to manage and support new product development activities from customer requirements and feasibility analysis through product development, trials, validation, and production launch. The candidate should have strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding, product development processes, and quality documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) activities.
- Should have experience from RFQ to Tool Trials.
- Study customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Conduct product and manufacturing feasibility analysis.
- Coordinate with customers, design, tool room, production, and quality teams during product development.
- Support prototype development, mould trials, and sample validation.
- Ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) considerations during product development.
- Coordinate tool/mould development activities with the Tool Room team.
- Plan and monitor product trials and ensure successful product validation.
- Prepare and maintain NPD documentation including APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
- Identify and resolve technical issues during product development and trials.
- Ensure timely completion of projects as per customer timelines.
- Support smooth transition of new products from development to mass production.
- Work closely with Quality and Production teams to improve product quality and manufacturability.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in New Product Development within the Manufacturing or Plastic Injection Moulding industry.
- Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in coordinating with Tool Room, Production, Quality, and Design teams.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple development projects and meet customer timelines.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
