As a Data Platform Engineer, your day involves supporting the development and refinement of the data platform architecture, ensuring that all components align with the overall blueprint. You work closely with Integration Architects and Data Architects to facilitate seamless integration across various systems and data models. Your role requires continuous collaboration and coordination to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the data platform, contributing to the foundation that supports data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform components with business requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data platform integration and performance.
- Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- Experience with cloud-based data processing and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and big data technologies.
- Ability to optimize data workflows and improve platform performance.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation to streamline data operations.
Additional Information:
