We are looking for a highly professional Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, channel development and team performance in the assigned region. Candidate must have strong experience in the battery or tyre industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Revenue Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales target for the assigned region
- Drive primary and secondary sales across dealer, distributor and retail channels
- Monitor market demand, competitor pricing and customer buying pattern
2. Channel Development and Distribution
- Appoint, manage and develop distributors, dealers and retailers
- Ensure distributor ROI, stock planning and timely order placements.
- Strengthen aftermarket reach and increases market penetration.
3. Team Leadership
- Manage, guide and motivate Area Sales Manager (ASM), Sales Officers (SO) and field staff
- Conduct regular performance reviews and field coaching.
4. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, promotional schemes and new product launches.
- Conduct market mapping and territory potential analysis
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with key dealers, retailers, fleet owners, mechanics, transporters and OEM partners
- Handle escalations, service related issues and customer queries promptly
- Drive customer loyalty and potential programs
6. Marketing and Promotion
- Execute regional marketing activities, mechanic meets, influencer programs and brand visibility initiatives
- Coordinate with the marketing team for regional campaigns, product demos and promotional drives
Required skills:
1. Strong understanding of battery/tyre product categories, warranty processes and technical specifications
2. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
3. Data driven mindset with strong analytical skills
4. Proficiency in MS-Excel, CRM Tools etc
5. 8-10 years of sales experience in the battery / tyre industry (mandatory)
6. Experience in managing a large region with multiple states/ territories
7. Graduate or MBA in marketing/sales preferred
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
