We are seeking a highly trained MEP Foreman to oversee the design, coordination, execution, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) execution of our projects. The role ensures that assigned tasks related to MEP work completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily MEP activities on-site.
- Assign tasks to technicians, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled workers.
- Interpret and implement MEP drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Ensure work complies with project specifications, applicable codes, and safety regulations.
- Monitor work progress and ensure project milestones are achieved according to schedule.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other subcontractor teams to avoid work conflicts.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met before handing over.
- Manage manpower, tools, equipment, and materials efficiently.
- Report material shortages and coordinate timely procurement with the site engineer or project manager.
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Identify and resolve on-site technical issues and escalate major concerns when necessary.
- Maintain daily work reports, attendance records, and progress documentation.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEP systems.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the work area.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and new workers in installation procedures and safety practices.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities when required.
- Ensure all work is completed within budget while maintaining quality and productivity
