Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, recording daily transactions, handling invoices and payments, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting the Accountant in regular financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
- Verify purchase invoices, sales bills, expenses, and payment vouchers.
- Assist in maintaining cash book, purchase register, sales register, and expense records.
- Handle daily cash collection and cash reconciliation.
- Prepare and maintain bank-related records and assist with bank reconciliation.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, bills, receipts, vouchers, and other documents.
- Assist the Accountant in GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding bills, expenses, purchases, and payments.
- Check discrepancies in bills and accounting entries and report them to the Accountant.
- Assist in stock-related accounting and verification when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
- 1 years of experience in accounting or a similar position preferred. Freshers Can also apply
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or similar software.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
Experience in hotel, restaurant, bar, hospitality, or retail accounting will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
