We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer – Automation & Special Purpose Machines (SPM) to lead the design and development of customized automation solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in mechanical design, SPM development, robotics integration, and automation systems, with hands-on experience in end-to-end project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) and customized automation systems from concept to production.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Develop innovative mechanical solutions for industrial automation applications.
- Integrate robotics, vision systems, pneumatics, sensors, and automation components into machine designs.
- Prepare and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and design specifications.
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, production, and assembly teams for successful machine development.
- Support prototype building, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
- Manage project timelines, design reviews, and execution milestones.
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to junior design engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 8–15 years of experience in automation machinery, SPM design, or industrial equipment development.
- Strong hands-on experience in designing complex mechanical assemblies.
- Experience working with automotive, manufacturing, or process automation project.
- Mechanical design of Automation Systems and SPMs
- Robotics integration and industrial automation concepts
- Machine design, mechanisms, and tooling development
- Vision system integration
- Pneumatic system design and component selection

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
