Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Medical Content Writer who can create accurate, engaging, and evidence-based healthcare content. The ideal candidate should be able to translate complex medical and diagnostic concepts into clear, reader-friendly content for patients, healthcare professionals, and digital audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit high-quality content related to pathology, diagnostics, preventive healthcare, and wellness.
- Develop content for blogs, websites, patient education materials, email campaigns, social media, brochures, and healthcare guides.
- Simplify medical and diagnostic information for non-medical audiences while maintaining scientific accuracy.
- Create content around health conditions, laboratory tests, screening packages, disease prevention, and treatment journeys.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, pathologists, marketing teams, and product teams to ensure content accuracy.
- Review medical literature, clinical studies, and healthcare guidelines to support content development.
- Ensure all content complies with healthcare communication standards and ethical guidelines.
- Stay updated on emerging healthcare trends, diagnostic technologies, and public health developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, Healthcare Management, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in medical, healthcare, diagnostics, or scientific content writing.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare concepts.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to interpret scientific information and communicate it effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing for pathology labs, diagnostic centers, healthcare startups, hospitals, or health-tech companies.
- Knowledge of content marketing, and digital healthcare communication.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation and content management systems.
