Position: HVAC Design Engineer
Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat
Experience: Minimum 2 Years in HVAC Design
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred
Salary: As per experience and technical expertise
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Prepare HVAC load calculations using industry standards.
- Design and size ducting, piping, ventilation, and air distribution systems.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, shop drawings, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Develop equipment selection sheets for AHUs, FCUs, Chillers, VRF/VRV Systems, Ventilation Fans, etc.
- Coordinate with project, execution, and procurement teams for design implementation.
- Review architectural and MEP drawings for HVAC integration.
- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and technical submittals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ASHRAE, IS Codes, NBC, and client specifications.
- Support site teams with technical clarifications and design modifications whenever required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and calculations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of HVAC design software such as HAP, Duct Sizer, Revit MEP, or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of ASHRAE standards and HVAC codes.
- Ability to prepare BOQs and cost estimates.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial and commercial HVAC projects.
- Experience with VRF/VRV, Chilled Water Systems, Ventilation Systems, and Clean Room HVAC applications.
- Prior experience in preparing tender and technical documentation.
