Vendor Development & Subcontracting Engineer
Salary : ₹30,000 to 60,000 (Based on Experience)
Experience Required: 2 - 5 Years
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and subcontractors for manufacturing requirements.
- Source components and services from qualified vendors while ensuring quality, cost, and timely delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, quality, and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
- Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to identify suitable manufacturing processes and vendors.
- Maintain vendor records, subcontracting documentation, and performance reports.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in vendor development, subcontracting, or supplier management in a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of machining processes, fabrication, and engineering drawings.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Experience in cost estimation, supplier evaluation, and procurement coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
